Security Guard

Security Guard Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that guests sign in upon arrival and exit.
  • Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
  • Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
  • Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
  • Report to supervisors on a regular basis.
  • Record any suspicious activities to the supervisor.
  • Present losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Maintain the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Expected Skills:

  • Basic first aid skills
  • Physical strength and fitness
  • Prior experience as Military or in Para Military
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be very alert and situationally aware
