Grader Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and precision-focused Grader Operator to join our construction project in Guyana.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a motor grader to shape, level, grade, and finish earthworks, road surfaces, embankments, and site formations to exact design specifications and engineering tolerances

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain continuous reference to survey pegs, stringlines, laser levels, or GPS machine control system throughout grading operations
• Grade and shape the surface to the correct levels, crossfall, and profile as per engineering specifications and project drawings
• Carry out scarifying and ripping of existing surfaces as directed before re-grading to achieve correct compaction and bonding
• Coordinate closely with compaction equipment operators to ensure graded layers are compacted promptly and efficiently
• Monitor the graded surface continuously for soft spots, segregation, or material inconsistencies and report to the supervisor

Qualification: Valid HMV / HEMM operating license.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience operating a motor grader in mining, roadwork, or construction projects.
