Line Pump labours
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking, physically fit, and safety-conscious Line Pump Helper to join our construction project in Guyana.
The ideal candidate will assist the Line Pump Operator in the setup, operation, monitoring, and dismantling of concrete line pumping equipment — ensuring that concrete is delivered accurately, efficiently, and safely to the required pour locations across the construction site.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Line Pump Operator in setting up, connecting, and positioning concrete pipeline sections and hoses across the site to the designated pour locations
- Carry, position, and securely connect pipeline couplings, bends, reducers, and end hoses as directed by the operator
- Assist in dismantling, cleaning, and storing all pipeline sections, hoses, and fittings safely after completion of concrete pours
- Monitor the entire length of the pipeline during pumping operations for any signs of blockage, leakage, pressure buildup, or pipeline movement
- Guide and support the end hose at the point of discharge to direct concrete accurately into formwork, slabs, columns, or beams as directed
- Assist in flushing, cleaning, and washing out the entire pipeline system thoroughly after every concrete pour using water or cleaning sponge balls
- Ensure all pipeline sections, hoses, fittings, and accessories are cleaned, inspected, and properly stored after every use
Qualification: Any
Experience: Experience assisting in concrete line pumping, RMC operations, or civil construction work.
Familiarity with equipment from brands like Ajax, Schwing Stetter, Putzmeister, or Aquarius.
