Crusher Mechanic
Job Summary:
The primary functions of the Crusher Mechanic are to inspect and analyze malfunctions, perform skilled maintenance, repairs, and rebuild crushing equipment, conveyors, and other plant-specific components. This position is considered a working hourly position and will require equipment and plant maintenance responsibilities. Willing to train the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate operation, preventative maintenance, repairs, and malfunctions of crushing plant, consulting with Production Superintendent as needed.
Direct workers engaged in crushing operations.
Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Dismantles and reassembles equipment using hoists, hand tools, and power tools.
Weld broken part and structural member using cutting torch and welding equipment.
Demonstrate skills in basic fabrication.
Order and maintain inventory of plant parts.
Perform general cleaning of work area and maintenance areas.
Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate problems, improve product quality and assure the operational status of company plants does not affect the production of material for customers.
Assist other departments with maintenance, operations, and/or other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters.
Regular and timely attendance.

Qualifications and Requirements
Previous experience with crushing maintenance required.
Of crushing and production equipment and repairs.
Use of machines, tools, equipment; mechanic’s hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting equipment, lubricating tools, hoists, cranes,
service trucks, electrical testing, and troubleshooting equipment.
5 – 10 years of Experience
