Financial Controller
To undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management and Manage the accounting department.
Responsibilities.
1.Assist in the development, implementation and/or maintenance of corporate accounting systems related to collection and analysis of costs, forecasts and/or budgets. Make practical applications found in accounting standards and procedures for routine transactions.
2.Assume oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day operation of accounting, such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash and general accounting. Plan, assign, and review accounting staff’s work.
3.Performing audits on financial data to ensure its accuracy and truthfulness.
4.Recommend methods for improving procedures and systems to management to strengthen internal controls. Make recommendations for cost effective methods of accomplishing specific functions. Upon approval, prepare procedures and implement system changes.
3. Reviewing the company’s financial statements to ensure they are accurate.
4. Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
5. Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
6. Forecasting future financial performance
7. Preparing and analyzing budgets
8. Providing accurate financial reports to management
9. Ensuring compliance with government regulations
10. Financial Controllers also analyse financial results each month or quarter (depending on company accounting policy) to prepare monthly reports for the management team, as well as quarterly and year-end financial statements.
11. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
13. Additional controller duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Education:
Advanced Degree in Accounting
CPA or CMA will be Asset
Proven experience in finance management.
Experience Overall : Must have 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience in Real Estate or Construction Sector.

1. Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
2. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
3. Experience with creating financial statements
4. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
5. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
6. Excellent communication skills in English
7. Strong leadership qualities.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills.
