General Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Communication: Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities as well as strong written communication
skills.
2. Leadership: provide and seek out continuing education opportunities to foster a growth mindset.
3. Delegation: identify the best person (or people) for a particular task and act as a facilitator to motivate and direct the work.
4. Time management: prioritize tasks to ensure that projects are completed by deadlines, streamline process and maximize productivity
5. Negotiation and mediation: find opportunities to resolve conflicts efficiently and favorably.
6. Decision-making: weigh the costs and benefits of various options to determine the best course of action to achieve company goals.
7. Problem-solving: analyze past and current performance and recommend objectives to improve productivity and profitability.
8. Prepare monthly management report and report to Directors.
9. Develop a strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions, recommending objectives. 10. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking stateof-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Degree in business management or a masters in business administration.
Good knowledge of different business functions.
Strong leadership qualities.

Computer literate.
Proactive nature.
