Grader Excavator Operator
Job Summary:
We are searching for a skilled heavy equipment operator to utilize our industrial gear such as Graders and Excavator.
The heavy equipment operator’s duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of materials, and liaising with coworkers to ensure that the projects are completed accurately.
You will be required to conduct your duties in a safe, diligent manner at all times.
To ensure success as a heavy equipment operator, you should monitor workflow, suggesting alterations to enhance productivity, as needed. A remarkable heavy equipment operator will be attuned to the subtleties of each situation, possessing sound knowledge of when to lead or follow
Job Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment to move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials during construction.
Operate heavy equipment to assist in the maintenance and repair of roadways.
Excavate rock, ore, or other materials from open-pit construction pits.
Read and interpret blueprints or designs to understand the requirements of the job.
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.
Checks equipment daily to maintain efficient and safe operational status: Greasing, oil changes, routine equipment maintenance, and grader blade changes.
Constructs new road grades, requiring the ability to read and understand grade stakes, use sight perception and reasoning necessary to balance a grade and cut ditches to reasonable construction tolerance.
Performs any and all activities that can be performed with a Motor Grader.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalentFull use of hands and feet to feel and control machine movements.
Ability to perform work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment specifically Grader and Excavator.
The ability to repeatedly lift in excess of 50 lbs.
Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.
Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
Capacity to provide and follow direction.
Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
Ability to work extended hours, as required.
Valid Divers Licenses for Truck/ Heavy Duty Machinery
