HSSE Manager
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting safe, secure and healthy environment-friendly working conditions consistent with relevant legislation and the Company’s risk management policy and conducive to effective levels of employee productivity and plant security
Job Responsibilities:
Developing and/or conducting health, safety and security training programmes as required for the achievement of desired corporate standards.
• Providing technical advice and guidance to Line Managers on health, safety, security and environmental issues, relevant legislation, codes and practices.
• Developing and monitoring the utilization of subordinate personnel so as to create and maintain effective levels of productivity.
• Preparing draft budget proposal and administering approved budgets.
• Preparing statistical and technical reports as required by the job function.
• Chairing the Joint Health, Safety & Environment and Traffic and Road Accident Investigation Committees.
• Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Performing any other duties as required by the job function.
Qualifications and Requirements
ISO 14001,OSHA certification, IOSH certification, NEBOSH certification
Ten (10) years’ experience in a similar of related job function, Five Years should have been at a senior professional level.
