Job Description
Tender & Bidding Opportunities
- Check various Tender search systems on a daily basis and identify any contracts which may be of interest to the company, either to bid or for market intelligence purposes
- Preparing planning, organizing and controlling of all the preliminary cost estimate, value engineering in tendering stage, budgeting, pre & post tender QS activities, billing, contract management, etc.,
- Providing Pre-tendering and Post-tendering assistance to the client
- Reviewing tender documents, scope of works, checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria, preparing presentations, risk matrix, information to top management to get approval for bidding.
- Identifying risks and opportunities in the proposal pricing at tender submission stage.
- Preparing tender review information in order to ensure methodology, pricing and margin contingency are adequately adhered to.
- Preparing of technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirements.
- Experience in preparing evaluating and estimating budgets for any type of tenders (open or closed bid) as well as analyzing in detail the unit rates described in each item.
- Experience in analyzing bidding documents, budgets, BoQs, blueprints, shop drawings and analogous documentation, as well detecting possible risks / mistakes/ lapses during the tender stage.
- Attending pre-bid meetings & seeking clarifications from clients.
Project Documentation
- Overall new projects Construction Schedule Planning and Monitoring the Execution & reporting the progress level to the management
- Coordinating with internal / external departments for preparation of project construction plans & schedules, staffs, manpower & equipment deployments, organization charts and infrastructure requirements.
- Preparation of Project Viability documents for Project Approval.
- Preparation of Request For Proposal (RFP), Contract Agreement and Schedules for Construction Project.
Project Execution
- Site investigation, analyzing logistics plan and materials source nearby.
- Monitoring the Site planning team Centrally and inspecting the Monthly Progress reports and micro planning done at site level.
- Co-ordinate with all support functions/departments for timely and adequate availability of resources to project site management.
Eligibility :
- Bachelor’s degree-B. tech -B.E/ Diploma in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture etc.
- 8 to 10 years of experience as Project Manager in project management within construction
- Previous working experience in Government project would be an added advantage.
- Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
- High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
- Strong leadership and management skills
