RMC Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and experienced Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Truck Driver to join our construction project in Guyana.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of ready-mix concrete from the batching plant to designated construction sites, ensuring that the concrete arrives in optimal condition, within the required timeframe, and in strict accordance with delivery schedules and project specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of RMC delivery process and handling of mixer drum controls.
• Ensure the drum is clean and free from hardened concrete residue before loading at the batching plant
• Confirm correct concrete mix, grade, and quantity is loaded as per the delivery docket
• Set drum rotation to the correct agitating speed immediately after loading to maintain concrete consistency
• Follow the designated route to the construction site safely and within the required delivery timeframe
• Coordinate with the site supervisor and concrete crew upon arrival to confirm pour readiness before discharging
• Discharge concrete smoothly and efficiently through the chute, ensuring no wastage or spillage
• Record delivery time, quantity discharged, and any on-site observations on the delivery docket
