Welder
Job Summary
The Employee will be responsible for performing high-quality welding, cutting, and metal fabrication tasks to support the company’s manufacturing operations and repair needs. This role ensures that production equipment, components, and custom metal structures are built, modified, or repaired to meet operational and safety standards. The Welder/Fabricator works closely with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support efficient plant operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on various metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Effect welding / fabricating on a fleet of trucks and other heavy equipment, in addition to equipment in the factory and building.
- Read, interpret, and fabricate according to technical drawings, blueprints, and work specifications.
- Perform cutting, bending, grinding, drilling, and shaping of metal components. Fabricate frames, fixtures, brackets, conveyors,guards, and other production-related structures.
- Assemble and weld components to required dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate welding machines, plasma cutters, grinders, shears, presses, and other fabrication tools. Inspect, maintain, and report defects on welding and fabrication equipment.
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and operation of welding tools to achieve consistent results.
Qualification: Certification in Welding and Fabrication
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience with industrial equipment fabrication or repair.
- Minimum total experience: 1+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or construction operations.
- Industry: Manufacturing / Warehousing
- Candidates must speak communicative English
Salary: USD 1150 to USD 1200
