Technician Responsibilities:
- CCTV System Installation:
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, recording equipment, and related hardware.
- Ensure proper placement and alignment of cameras for optimal coverage.
- Perform initial system testing and calibration.
- System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular maintenance on CCTV systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CCTV cameras, recording devices, and software.
- Replace or repair faulty components as necessary.
- Monitoring and Surveillance:
- Monitor live feeds and recorded footage from CCTV cameras to ensure continuous surveillance and security.
- Identify, document, and report any suspicious activities or security breaches promptly.
- Maintain logs of surveillance activities and incidents.
- Ensure AI-driven analytics enhance the effectiveness of surveillance operations.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on CCTV system operations.
- Assist with system upgrades and integrations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that all CCTV installations and operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Create and manage backups of camera recordings, utilizing cloud storage solutions based on requirements.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with security personnel and other departments to address security concerns and improve system performance.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and service providers for equipment procurement and support.
