Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspections: Perform comprehensive inspections of diesel vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Diagnosis: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems within diesel engines and vehicle systems.
- Repairs: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine overhauls, brake replacements, suspension repairs, and other mechanical work.
- Engine Work: Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including fuel system repairs, engine tuning, and emission system maintenance.
- Electrical and Hydraulic Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electronic control modules. Perform hydraulic system repairs as needed.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Parts Replacement: Identify and replace worn or damaged parts, including belts, hoses, brakes, and other components, following manufacturer specifications.
