Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Servicing: Perform regular inspection, servicing, and repair of drilling machines (Epiroc and other models).
- Diagnosis: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in drilling equipment and implement timely corrective actions.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Repairs and Adjustments: Replace faulty parts, adjust components, and perform alignments to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts usage records.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with drilling operators and supervisors to identify and troubleshoot machine-related problems.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and follow company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines.
- Training and Mentorship: Train and guide junior mechanics or helpers in safe and effective repair techniques.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment functionality with minimal downtime.
